About Alan
After working as a design
engineer for many years, I changed career and trained to become an art
teacher at Neville's Cross College, Durham.
I then taught art at a comprehensive school. However, I left full time
teaching and took a studio at Washington Arts Centre to make ceramics, I also
taught various pottery courses. After twenty years I moved from the Arts
Centre into my purpose built studio at home.
